Tourism affects almost all areas of the environment. Tourism-related traffic has a significant impact on climate change. The accommodation and other tourist infrastructure buildings contribute to surface sealing, water shortages or water pollution as well as increased waste. We need a rethink in tourism and solutions on how travel and sustainability can be combined.
